Due to insufficient registrations, Council made the difficult decision to suspend kindergarten services at Katandra West Kindergarten in 2026. Read more about the closure here.
Goulburn Region Preschool Association is currently undertaking an assessment to determine whether it will take on the management of Katandra West Kindergarten from 2027. Families who have registered will be notified as soon as a decision is made.
At Katandra West Kindergarten, we provide a nurturing and engaging environment where children can grow, explore, and develop a love for learning through play. Located in the heart of our small-town community, we focus on fostering strong connections with families and the natural world through regular excursions.

Our play-based approach centres on children, encouraging their independence and voices in our program. Educators foster reciprocal and respectful relationships to support a nurturing learning environment.
