In 1873 a frail figure was walked to the gallows at the Adelaide Gaol. She had been convicted of murdering her husband, and there would be no reprieve. The hanging of Elizabeth Woolcock has gone down in Australian true crime history as one of the most contested cases to result in capital punishment.

In The Shadow Of The Gallows is a dramatization of some of the details of the case and the psychological state of this 23-year-old woman in her final hours of life.

Also includes a bonus screening of Vendetta 19, a short film about the notorious Squizzy Taylor.
