X-ABITION Skate Park - Mooroopna

Mooroopna's Skate Park is located at Ferrari Park - McLennan Street Mooroopna.

The Mooroopna skate park features a distinctive layout centred around a six-foot closed bowl, offering a riding experience not found elsewhere in the municipality. The bowl caters to both BMX riders and skateboarders and works as either a standalone feature or as part of the park’s interconnected flow.

A three-, five- and eight-stair combination with handrail makes use of the elevation created by the bowl, forming a challenging link between the upper and lower levels. Adjacent to the stairs, a ramp creates a flowing chute that wraps around and climbs to a 1.5 m quarter pipe extension, which then connects to a higher 1.8 m extension. From here, riders can continue the line or drop back down toward the moulded funbox and return into the bowl.

For beginners, the park includes a 0.3 m ledge and ramp on the northern side of the bowl, along with a 0.2 m manual pad on the southern side, providing accessible features for skill development and progression.

Tatura Skatepark

A new Tatura Skate Park was officially in July 2025, delivering a modern and improved space for skaters, BMX riders and scooter users of all abilities, a fantastic improvement from the previous facility at the same location, Mactier Gardens (Flanagan Pl, off Hogan Street) in Tatura.

The new space provides modern facilities catering to skaters, BMX riders and scooter users of all skill levels. It also features a subtle homage to the town’s famous award-winning vanilla slice, with a concrete vanilla slice bench incorporated into the design.

Merrigum Skate Park

Located next to the Splash Park, Merrigum, the Merrigum Skate Park is a smaller, community-friendly skate park located beside a basketball half court and splash park—perfect for families and casual riders.
