Are you a young person aged between 12-25 who is passionate about music, arts and culture? Do you want to develop your skills in all things event planning and management? Can you commit to regular meetings? If the answer is yes, Greater Shepparton’s FReeZA program, The Music, Arts and Culture Committee (The MACC) is for you!
Greater Shepparton City Council has been successful in receiving a grant in the 2022-2024 FReeZA funding round. To deliver the outcomes of this funding a FReeZA Committee will be established and will comprise of young people aged 12-25 who live, work or volunteer in Greater Shepparton. All members will be supported through the provision of training and skill development to stage FReeZA events.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor Kim O’Keeffe said young people will have the opportunity to plan, run and support safe, events for other young people.
“These events help young people to gain skills and be involved in cultural, art and music events that reflect what young people within our community are looking for,” she said.
“FReeZA is a platform for youth-led action in music, arts and culture. I encourage all young people to consider submitting an expression of interest for this program.”
