Family fun and hot deals await at Shepparton Winter City Market

The event promises two vibrant days of family activities and great shopping. Locals and visitors can expect exclusive deals from participating retailers, with trading hours running Friday 29 August 2025 from 10am to 6pm and Saturday 30 August 2025 from 9am to 3pm.

To mark the end of winter, Shepparton’s CBD will be buzzing with live music, family-friendly activities, and mouth-watering eats from local restaurants and cafés. On Saturday 29, the market will expand to include fresh local produce stalls, featuring items like baked goods, and various products.

A highlight of this year’s program is the debut of the Youth Talent Show, open to performers aged 5 to 25. From 10am to 1pm on Saturday, emerging talent will take the stage at the Maude Street Precinct, welcoming all talents and experience levels. Performers will go in the draw to win a $50 gift card and sweet treats. Entry is free and registrations close Monday 25 August at Shaping Greater Shepp

Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, encouraged community members to attend the market and shop local.

“The Winter City Market presents a fantastic opportunity to activate the local economy and enjoy our public spaces such as the Maude Street precinct, it’s wonderful seeing the community coming together and exploring what the CBD has to offer,” he said.

“I encourage both residents and visitors to mark their calendars, support local businesses and stallholders, enjoy the family-friendly entertainment, and have a good time here in Shepparton.”

Council’s Place Manager, Bonnie McIntosh, said creating opportunities for local businesses is a priority.

“Seasonal markets are a community favourite, and a fantastic way to boost local trade and activate the economy, while connecting people with vendors,” she said.

“We’re really looking forward to hosting the Youth Talent Show this year and showing support to young community members showcasing their talents. I am sure visitors and residents will have a wonderful time exploring the special offers and enjoying a day out with family and friends.”

Entertainment highlights across the weekend include a jumping castle, ‘Activities in the Park’ games, boutique stalls, live performances and more.
