Labuan Road and Katandra Main Road intersection works

Greater Shepparton City Council would like to advise of planned road safety improvement works in Katandra West. The works will be undertaken on Labuan Road, including the intersection of Labuan Road and Katandra Main Road.

Mawson Constructions Pty Ltd will commence the works in early February 2022 with planned completion in late May 2022. Construction will take place during these dates, with normal working hours between 7am and 6pm weekdays; and 7am and 1pm Saturdays, when required.

Works will be staged to limit disruption, with preliminary works commencing in February before construction works to Labuan Road North, Katandra Main Road and Labuan Road South.  These important safety works are funded by the Federal Governments Blackspots Program.

There will be changed conditions throughout the duration of the works and traffic control will be in place. Katandra Main Road will be subject to partial lane closures, with temporary traffic lights in place to allow one-way traffic to move through the intersection during construction works. Road closures will also be in place along both Labuan Road South and North.

Council asks road users to obey traffic management signage and detours during this time. Council would like to thank local residents for their patience while these works are being completed.
