Nominations for the 2025 Greater Shepparton Community Citizenship Awards close Monday 25 November 2024. Nominations for Murchison close on Monday 18 November due to an external judging process.
Greater Shepparton City Council Director Sustainable Development, Geraldine Christou, highlighted the importance of these Awards and encouraged residents to nominate outstanding local citizens who make a difference in the community.
“These Awards are a great opportunity to celebrate the efforts of remarkable community members and give them the recognition they deserve,” she said.
“We all know someone who steps up in times of need, or takes time out of their day to make a positive impact on their community. A nomination for the 2025 Citizenship Awards would be a wonderful way to show them gratitude for their hard work.”
Award winners will be announced on 26 January 2025 with the overall winner being announced at the Greater Shepparton Citizenship Awards ceremony to be held on 29 January 2025.
