Looking for a gentle way to get moving, meet new people and enjoy the fresh air? Greater Shepparton City Council invites residents to join the Puff Walks, a fun and social walking group held twice a week as part of the Activities in the Park program.
In Summary
These free weekly walks are led by a qualified fitness instructor, making them suitable for all fitness levels, whether you are just starting your health journey or simply looking for a friendly stroll.
The next Puff Walk session will take place on Wednesday 16 July 2025, from 9.00am to 10.00am, starting from Aquamoves.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali said the Puff Walks are a fantastic way for the community to get outdoors and stay connected.
“We know how important regular movement and social connection are for both physical and mental wellbeing. Puff Walks are an easy and welcoming way to get active and enjoy what our region has to offer,” he said.
“It’s free, it’s inclusive, and it’s a great reason to put your runners on and give it a go.”
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, bring a water bottle, and most importantly, come with a positive attitude. No bookings are required, just turn up and get walking!
The Puff Walks are part of Council’s Activities in the Park program, which delivers more than 150 free and low-cost events across the region every year to help residents and visitors stay active, healthy and engaged.
