Greater Shepparton City Council is excited to launch the 2025 Winter edition of its popular Activities in the Park program, running from June to August and packed with exciting free and low-cost events across Greater Shepparton.
In Summary
Designed to help residents and visitors stay active during the cooler months, the program features more than 45 events held across Greater Shepparton. From movement and mindfulness to arts and adventures, there’s something for all ages and abilities.
Program highlights include go karting, circus skills, markets, nature-based experiences, puff walks, and fun kids’ activities in small towns throughout the region.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, encouraged people of all ages and abilities to take part in the program and make the most of our local parks and facilities this winter.
“This program has been designed to keep you active, even as the weather cools down. We want to make it easy for people to step outside, explore their neighbourhoods and take part in something fun and uplifting,” he said.
“It’s also about strengthening connections with family, friends, and the wider community. Whether you're joining in on a mindful walk, trying something new or simply enjoying our local open spaces there is something for everyone this winter.”
For updates on the activities, residents and visitors can get their copy of the program flyer by visiting the Activities in the Park website or following Activities in the Park on Facebook and Instagram.
