Inclusive workplaces help businesses access talent, strengthen teams and better reflect the community they serve. 

Dr Huong Nguyen is a Lecturer in Management and Human Resource Management at La Trobe Business School. Originally from Vietnam and now based in Melbourne, her research focuses on leadership, careers, workforce participation, and how organisations can better attract, retain, and develop talent from diverse backgrounds. She has published in leading international journals, including the British Journal of Management and Studies in Higher Education, and has worked with businesses, government agencies, and community organisations across Australia and internationally. Passionate about connecting research to practice, Huong helps organisations identify practical ways to unlock underutilised talent, strengthen workforce participation, and build more inclusive and productive workplaces. Her work is particularly relevant to regional communities seeking innovative solutions to workforce challenges.
